Words Matter Charity
During my final year of study, I completed a six-month internship with the charity Words Matter, working as a Social Media Assistant.
Alongside my core responsibilities, I supported the team with administrative tasks and secondary research. I was actively involved in developing and delivering social media campaigns that boosted engagement, helping the charity reach more people.
Working closely within a small, collaborative team, I gained valuable insight into how creative communication and digital strategy can be used for meaningful social impact. This experience strengthened my organisational skills, adaptability, and confidence in using digital platforms to tell compelling, purpose-driven stories.

Suermondt Knitwear
Digital creator
Over the summer, I completed an internship with Suermondt Knitwear, where I worked as the primary social media content creator. My role involved independently generating, filming, editing, and delivering creative content for TikTok, as well as writing copy for the brand’s website. This experience gave me valuable insight into the sustainable fashion industry, and how innovation can change the way we consume for the better.
Working independently taught me how to manage creative projects from concept to completion, strengthened my problem-solving skills, and deepened my understanding of how to communicate brand values, such as craftsmanship and sustainability, through digital storytelling.
